Abstract
The flow through a bed of mechanical pulp fibres,vas studied by a stimulus response technique with glucose as the inert tracer A pulp fibre length dis tribution analysis showed that the pulp and formation of mechanical pulp fi bres was stable, with negligible losses affines during Pol flow through the mechanical pulp bed under the conditions studied The flow-through behaviou r of beds of mechanical pulp fibres was examined.
