Abstract
Coherent-dissociation reactions C-12 --> 2 alpha + 2d and C-12 --> 2 a lpha + t + p on carbon nuclei at 4.2 GeV/c per nucleon are sought, and the cross sections for these reactions are estimated. The momentum an d correlation features of secondary fragments in the laboratory frame and in the c.m. frame of a fragmenting nucleus are analyzed and compar ed with the corresponding data on the reaction C-12 --> 3 alpha.
