Abstract
We describe modification of the DANFYSIK 911A positive ion source for produ ction of negative ions. The modification is simple and the new source is ea sy to maintain. For H- a beam current of 10 nA was achieved; this is suffic iently large for application of the ion source in atomic collision experime nts.
