Abstract
Aorichthys seenghala exhibits sexual dimorphism, with distinct external cha racters. The mature male above 350 mm had a muscular conical reddish pink p apilla just above the genital opening, the female lacks the same. It persis ts in mature male but becomes prominent during the breeding season.
