Abstract
Melanacrosathe, gen. nov. is described to include M. burmensis, sp. nov. fr om northeastern Myanmar and M. siamensis, sp. nov. from northern Thailand. The genus is postulated to be the sister-group to Acrosathe Irwin & Lynebor g, 1981 which has a Holarctic distribution with at least 20 species and one species in Taiwan. The peculiar aedeagal structure is described and illust rated.
