Abstract
A Joseph resection of the dorsal hump permanently alters the nasal dorsum f rom a fused smooth cap into three individual components with an open roof. In those patients in whom infracture is unwise or in whom the septum is sev erely twisted or the skin is very thin and Likely to show irregularities, r econstruction of the cap is done with a cartilaginous dorsal graft that has been sanded thin.
