Abstract
We present calculations of charge transfer cross sections for Cq+ + H-2 col lisions with q = 2,3,4 in the energy range 50 eV/amu< E <2.5 keV/amu. We em ploy ab initio electronic wavefunctions of the triatomic systems, the eikon al method to treat the ion-diatom relative motion, and the sudden approxima tion for vibration and rotation of the diatom.
