A crossed-beams technique has been used to measure total cross sections for
charge transfer in He-3(2+) + Xq+ collisions (Xq+ = N4+, O5+) at barycentr
ic energies between 8 keV and 200 keV. The cross section for charge transfe
r in He2+ + N4+ collisions is calculated within the molecular model and sho
ws good agreement with the experimental data.
