Diterpenes and aromatic compounds from Euphorbia fischeriana

From the roots of Euphorbia fischeriana, two new diterpene lactones, langdu in B and 17-acetoxyjolkinolide A, together with five known diterpenes, jolk inolide A, 17-hydroxyjolkinolide A, jolkinolide B, 17-hydroxyjolkinolide B, and ent-11 beta-hydroxyabieta-8(14) 13(15)-dien-16,12 beta-olide were isol ated. The structural determination was accomplished by interpretation of sp ectral data and in the case of langduin B by X-ray crystallographic analysi s.
