Abstract
Seven flavonoids, including two new natural products, were isolated from an ethanol extract of the bark of Maclura tinctoria (L.) Gaud. The new compou nds are steppogenin 4'-O-beta-D-glucoside and orobol 5,3'-di-O-methyl-8-C-g lucoside. Orobol, steppogenin, aromadendrin, dihydromorin and orobol 7-O-be ta-D-glucoside were also isolated. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All right s reserved.
