Two acylated flavone glucosides from Andrographis serpyllifolia

Two new acylated flavone glucosides, skullcapflavone I 2'-O-beta-D-(3"-E-ci nnamoyl)glucopyranoside and skullcapflavone I 2'-O-beta-D-(2"-E-cinnamoyl)g lucopyranoside, together with skullcapflavone I 2'-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside and andrographidine C have been isolated from the whole plant of Andrograp his serpyllifolia. Structural elucidation of the glycosides was achieved by various NMR techniques including H-1-H-1 COSY, HMQC, HMBC and ROESY experi ments, FAB-mass spectrometry, acid hydrolysis and saponification.
