New composites based on AV-17 anion exchanger and double ferrocyanides of p
otassium and several transition metals (copper, zinc, cobalt, and nickel) w
ere prepared. The conditions and parameters of synthesis were studied, and
the chemical composition of the sorbents was determined. The sorption prope
rties of the composites toward cesium under static conditions were investig
ated, and their total static exchange capacities were evaluated. The effect
of sodium nitrate supporting electrolyte on the distribution of cesium in
the systems with these composites was studied.
