Abstract
Low-temperature methods for synthesis of aluminomagnesium spinel were studi ed: sol-gel method, joint crystallization of magnesium and aluminum nitrate solutions with their subsequent decomposition, and mechanochemical activat ion of hydrated magnesium and aluminum nitrates. X-ray phase analysis was u sed to compare the effectiveness of the methods used with respect to MgAl2O 4 formation.
