Abstract
An organosilicon polymer containing thioglycolic acid groups was prepared b y hydrolytic polycondensation of S-trialkoxysilylethyl derivatives of thiog lycolic acid in aqueous ammonia. The polymer exhibits sorption activity tow ard Ag+, [Ag(S2O3)(2)](3-), AuCl4-, PtCl62-, and PdCl42-.
