Abstract
The contact precipitation of metallic cadmium with dispersed aluminum from spent Cd(II) industrial solutions was investigated. The effects of temperat ure, reagent concentration, and complexing agents present in solution on th e degree of extraction and the purity of the reduced metal were studied.
