Abstract
The title compound, 1,2: 1,3-bis(mu-thioacetato-S:O)-1-(triphenylphosphine- P)-1-ruthena-closo-undecaborane, [Ru(C4H14B10O2S2)(C18H15P)], contains an 1 1-vertex close-type C-2v (RuB10) cluster and two symmetric exo-polyhedral f ive-membered Ru-S-C-O-B rings. The Ru-S bond lengths are 2.443(2) and 2.445 (2) Angstrom, and the Ru-B bond lengths are in the range 2.036 (9)-2.393 (9 ) Angstrom.
