Infrared spectra of the copper (II) complexes of amino acids with hydroxylic residues

The infrared spectra of the bis-chelated Cu(ll) complexes of the amino acid s serine, threonine and tyrosine, which posses different kind of pharmacolo gic activity, were recorded and analyzed in relation to its structural pecu liarities. Some comparisons between the recorded spectra and with those of related systems are also made. The characteristics of the carboxylate motio ns as well as those of the metal-to-ligand vibrations are discussed in deta il.
