Abstract
Depue & Collins associate dopaminergically mediated incentive motivational processes with extraversion. In this commentary I consider dopaminergic ind ices from neuroimaging investigations which correlate more closely with imp ulsive sensation seeking personality traits than with extraversion. Measure s of relevant behavioural processes also appear to correlate with personali ty measures other than extraversion.
