Abstract
Parasitological examinations of fish from the Senegalese coast has shown th at myxosporean parasites (Henneguya lutjani, Myxobolus hannensis, Myxobolus hani sp. n.) developed voluminous and numerous cysts on the Sill of their hosts. These cysts caused histopathological changes in the gill but the ema ciation of infected fishes were not observed.
