Abstract
Hepatic lipoidosis in rainbow. trout is an important factor for the success ful rearing of fish in Bulgaria. The influence of 3-month fattening feeding with imported food "Trouvit 2HD" and its Bulgarian equivalent upon the his tostructure of the internal organs and tissues of trout was investigated. s trong oxidized changes in lipids were found in Bulgarian produced food. Fee ding with this diet in the 3-month period before harvesting provoked strong dystrophic damage in the muscles and Liver. Scanning electron microscopy s howed significant changes in the microstructure of miofibriles.
