Abstract
The development of new biodegradable films based on blends of biotransforme d cellulose and starch is presented. A preparation method for blended films using alkaline solutions of a mixture of biotransformed cellulose and star ch is described. Their mechanical properties, as well as their susceptibili ty to biodegradation, Rye also discussed.
