Woven fabics for anti-allergic bedding for asthmatics

Anti-mite prevention is regraded as an invaluable method for aiding allergy treatment. Allergen-proof bedding is one of the most important and effecti ve preventive measures. The textile Research Institute (TW) and ORTAL S.A. company financially supported by Polish State committee Jot Scientific Rese arch, have developed the technology for producing allergen-proof bedding co vers. This paper presents biological and clinical tests of such bedding cov ers. Positive test results have enabled the industrial implementation of th is technology.
