Abstract
A paradox arises in a recent paper by Kuo and Vijayan because notching out narrowband primary noise would seem to also prevent secondary path identifi cation at the primary center frequency. This conundrum is resolved by exami ning the notch bandwidth in comparison to the resolution of the model filte r.
