Abstract
The stability constants of silver perchlorate complex with 18-crown-6, dibe nzo-18-crown-6, in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP), cryptands 21 and 22 in m ethanol and NMP and of cryptand 222 in various methanol+NMP mixtures have b een determined potentiometrically at 30 degrees C. The stability constants are found to be higher in methanol than in NMP or in mixtures of methanol+N MP. The cryptate assumption is found to be satisfactory for the evaluation of Gibbs transfer energies of silver ion in methanol+NMP mixtures with cryp tand 222.
