We prove the entangled ergodic theorem, a notion recently proposed by Accar di, Hashimoto and Obata in connection with central limit theorems' provided a multidimensional noncommutative analogue of the spectral theorem is vali d. This shows at least the possible structure of limit states in such centr al limit theorems.
