Sections of a few mu m-sized particles of Fe1-xAlx (x = 0.35-0.42) powders,
produced by the atomizing method, were prepared for transmission electron
microscopy (TEM) using new specimen supporting methods and ion thinning. As
-atomized paramagnetic particles, the particles magnetized by cold milling
for several hours and those demagnetized by ageing for 1 min at 200 degrees
C have been observed in cross-sectional high-resolution TEM images.
