Abstract
Serious abdominal injury as a result of a fall in a baby walker has not bee n previously reported. We present the case of a 13-month-old boy who develo ped intussusception following a fall down five stairs in a baby walker. Att empted hydrostatic reduction was unsuccessful. At operation, a bowel wall h ematoma, serving as a lead point, was identified. This case adds another ty pe of injury to the list of those previously associated with baby walker us e, (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Inc.
