Abstract
Vocal cord dysfunction is a rare type of airway obstruction that mag mimic an acute asthma attack. We present a case of a patient who arrived in the E mergency Department (ED) in acute respiratory distress, with a history of s evere asthma requiring previous intubation, who nas diagnosed with vocal co rd dysfunction by bronchoscopy in the ED.
