Abstract
F-19 NMR spectroscopy and conductometry were used to study solutions of lit hium tetrafluoroborate in water, propylene carbonate, gamma-butyrolactone, 1,2-dimethoxyethane, and tetrahydrofuran within a wide range of concentrati ons at 25 degrees C. It is proposed that in solvents of low polarity the in terparticle interactions become more complex, and particles, including ions , ion associates, and solvent molecules are present.
