Abstract
Deburring of cross-drilled holes by secondary erosion of an abrasive jet wa s carried out and the parameters were identified. The detailed studies carr ied out on the parameters indicate that the parameter stand-off distance, b urr root-to-stopper distance, abrasive grit size and mixing ratio significa ntly affect the deburring process. A burr model for 90 degrees cross-drille d holes is also presented in this paper. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
