In this paper, the method of D-partition is applied to determine feedback s
tabilizability of time-delay linear systems having an unstable pole. More p
recisely, effort is devoted to find stability regions in the controller par
ameter plane for the stabilization of first- and second-order time-delay sy
stems with an unstable pole using conventional P-, PI-, PD-, and PID-contro
llers. The determination of stability regions is useful for the parametric
optimization of stabilizing controllers.
