Abstract
Ultrasonic velocities of various concentrations of dimethyl phosphoryl acet yl phosphate in aqueous ethanol mixtures have been measured at 30 degrees b y using single crystal interferometer at a frequency of 3 MHz. By using vel ocity, density, viscosity and concentration data, various acoustical parame ters are calculated and the results are interpreted in terms of sol solvent -solute nod solute-solute interactions. The positive values of solvation nu mber implies the structure-forming tendency.
