Abstract
A novel all-optical linearization technique of electroabsorption (EA) optic al modulators by using a dual modulation scheme is proposed and theoretical ly investigated Reductions of the third-order intermodulation products of s imilar to 30 dB and the subsequent increase of the spurious-free dynamic ra nge of similar to 20 dB and the subsequent increase of the narrowband opera tion.
