A discrete penalty method for the numerical study of the evolution equation

oncerning the stability and the boundedness of the numerical solution are e
stablished, Since the aim of the article is also to show the numerical deve
lopment of singularities (these are expected, due to the similarities with
the evolution equations for liquid crystals), some numerical results on a s
