The formation of radiation intensity in layers with spheroidal particles or
iented along the axis perpendicular to the plane of the layer is considered
on the basis of numerical solution of the radiation transfer equation. An
algorithm based on the layer doubling method is developed for solving the t
ransfer equation with parameters depending on the propagation direction of
radiation. The radiation intensity deep inside a layer with the Fresnel ref
lection at the boundaries and reflection and transmission coefficients are
calculated.
