Abstract
Recording and reading of dynamic holograms in cadmium fluoride crystals wit h metastable centers are considered. Physical mechanisms of these processes are described. The analysis of photochemical center conversions makes it p ossible to estimate the maximum hologram diffraction efficiency and the cry stal photosensitivity. The study of recording kinetics can be used to find experimental values of these quantities.
