dA method for determining the shape and size of randomly and preferentially
oriented particles of size 1-10 mu m is proposed. The method is based on t
he analysis of experimental data on light scattering by dispersion media wi
th the help of a mathematical model. The scattering indicatrix was calculat
ed by formulas of the Rayleigh-Gans approximation taking into account diffr
action. The dynamics of changes in shape, size, and orientation of erythroc
ytes with composition of a dispersion medium is analyzed.
