Abstract
In electroluminescent polymers, the exciton is polarized by a weak electric field E and dissociated by strong E. These effects can quantitatively eluc idate the observed dependence of the luminous intensity of the luminescent polymer on the electric field and the field-induced charge generation in co njugated polymers.
