A modified vortex glass correlation length is introduced to give a consiste
nt description of the field and temperature dependence of the resistivity i
n the vortex liquid regime of high-T-c superconductors. The proposed model
explicitly takes into account both thermal energy and a characteristic mean
pinning energy, U-0(B, T). We find good agreement between the model and ou
r measurements on twinned single crystals of YBa2Cu3O7-delta sand thin film
Tl2Ba2CaCu2O8+delta.
