Abstract
Chemically resolved in situ imaging of pulses in the system Rh(110)/NO + H- 2 has been achieved with scanning photoelectron microscopy. Based on the ex perimental results a realistic mathematical model for the excitation of pul ses was developed which reproduces the experimental concentration profiles.
