Heterocycles with a beta-nitroenamine fragment 3. Synthesis of 3-amino-2-nitrothieno[2,3-b]pyridines. Crystal and molecular structure of 3-amino-4-methyl-2-nitro-6-trifluoromethylthieno[2,3-b]pyridine

The reaction of 3-cyanopyridine-2(1H)-thiones with bromonitromethane in the presence of triethylamine results in 3-amino-2-nitrothieno [2,3-b]pyridine s. The crystal and molecular structure of one of the reaction products was established by X-ray diffraction analysis.
