Abstract
Evolution of magnetoresistance at H = 1.5 T during sintering of ceramics is studied for La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 samples obtained using solid state (SS) synthes is and freeze-drying (FD) methods. Significant enhancement of magnetoresist ance peak values and lowering of peak temperature for dense SS samples can be related to larger oxygen non-stoichiometry due to complicated oxygen dif fusion or influence of La-doped MnOx inclusions, generating new pinning cen ters.
