Abstract
The [2.2]paracyclophane annelated cycloproparenes 2 and 3 were synthesized by dehydrohalogenation of the adducts prepared by reacting 1-bromo-2-chloro cyclopropene with 1-vinyl[2.2]paracyclophane-1-ene and 1,2-dimethylene[2.2] paracyclophane, respectively.
