Abstract
The synthesis of a diammoniumcalix[4]arene is reported and its ability to e xtract Se(VI) and not Se(IV) is demonstrated. This property is used to sele ctively preconcentrate trace amounts of Se(VI). (C) 1999 Published by Elsev ier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
