Abstract
Two HPLC-post column systems, a conventional-sine system and a semi-micro s ystem, for the simultaneous determination of lipid hydroperoxides were deve loped. The hydroperoxides of free fatty acids, phosphatidylcholines, triacy lglycerols and cholesterol esters were individually determined at the pmol level with good reproducibility by using gradient elution and post-column d etection with diphenyl-1-pyrenylphosphine.
