Ma. Rodriguez-perez et Ja. De Saja, The effect of blending on the physical properties of crosslinked closed cell polyethylene foams, CELL POLYM, 18(1), 1999, pp. 1-20
The mechanical properties at low strain rates, dynamic mechanical propertie
s, creep-recovery behaviour, thermal expansion and thermal conductivity of
foams manufactured from blends of low density polyethylene (LDPE) with an e
thylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and with a polyisoprene polystyrene b
lock copolymer (IS copolymer) have been studied as a function of the LDPE c
ontent in the blends. The experimental results show important aspects relat
ed with the modification of the foam properties by blending.
