Abstract
The mechanical properties at low strain rates, dynamic mechanical propertie s, creep-recovery behaviour, thermal expansion and thermal conductivity of foams manufactured from blends of low density polyethylene (LDPE) with an e thylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and with a polyisoprene polystyrene b lock copolymer (IS copolymer) have been studied as a function of the LDPE c ontent in the blends. The experimental results show important aspects relat ed with the modification of the foam properties by blending.
