Abstract
During drilling of Morte-Merie borehole, a chemical logging of drillin g fluids has been carried out. The field equipment allows on-line meas urement of the physico-chemical parameters and the gas content of the drilling fluids. Drilling fluids are also continuously filtered, regul arly sampled and analysed in the field. This logging allowed recogniti on of two zones of water inflow. A porous zone has also been traced. T hese results show the interest of this method.
