Abstract
A probalistic model of a multisection transmission line with-a random chara cteristic impedance is developed. The average value of the voltage at the e nd of the random line is estimated from an equivalent homogeneous line, whi ch depends on the mean values of the characteristic impedance and admittanc e distributions.
