Abstract
A new design procedure for robust control of nonlinear systems transformabl e into the strict-feedback form is proposed. The controller comprises a rob ust globally bounded state feedback and a high-gain observer. A characteris tic of the controller is that it provides an estimate of certain lumped mod elling error. Examples are presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed control algorithm.
