Free extended double hemipulp flap was used succesfully to reconstruct vola
r defects of the fingers in three cases. This flap was planned in the same
fashion as a first web space flap, except that the volar part of the web wa
s preserved. Free extended double hemipulp flap offers a durable, septate a
nd sensate skin cover for large volar defects of the fingers. It has the ad
ded advantages of transferring two flaps on one pedicle.
